WCAG 2.1 AA
Accessibility
Inclusive design is not an afterthought. We build experiences that are perceivable, operable, and understandable for everyone.
Core Principles
Perceivable
POUR
Information and UI components must be presentable to users in ways they can perceive.
Operable
POUR
User interface components and navigation must be operable.
Understandable
POUR
Information and the operation of user interface must be understandable.
Robust
POUR
Content must be robust enough that it can be interpreted reliably by a wide variety of user agents, including assistive technologies.
Color Contrast
Text must maintain a minimum contrast ratio of 4.5:1 against its background (WCAG AA).
Normal Text (4.5:1)
4.5:1
Large Text (3:1)
3:1
PassBlack on White (21:1)
FailGrey on Grey (1.2:1)
Focus Indicators
Never suppress the default focus outline without providing a visible alternative. Our design system uses a standard `ring-2` focus ring.
- Tab / Shift+Tab navigation
- Visible hover & focus styles
